I am very thrilled to not only be starting my fifth year at Reitz but also very excited to have your son or daughter in class. It is my hope that all of my students take away from this course a better appreciation of all the living things around us and hopefully a better understanding of how they perform their everyday functions.

In Biology, we will be doing activities and labs that will be interesting to everyone, even if they’re not really interested in science. I want very much for all my students to do well and learn what Biology is all about. You will receive from your child mid-term progress reports (every 4 ½ weeks) so you can see how he or she is doing, which can be signed by you and returned for bonus points. You will also be able to check your student's grade online using their student ID number. (COMING SOON). If necessary, I will be in touch with you concerning your child throughout the year to be sure we are on top of any problems which might arise. Also, if you have any questions or concerns at any time during the year, please, please, please feel free to contact me at school, at home or via e-mail.
